Job summary

1st-Source-Bank is seeking a Retirement Plan Administrator to ensure compliance with DOL/IRS regulations. The role involves reviewing trust instruments, consulting with corporate officers, attorneys, actuaries, and beneficiaries, and coordinating with internal teams on account record-keeping and processing.

The candidate should have 5–8 years of experience, knowledge of ERISA, and proficiency with Relius and MS Office, with a Bachelor’s degree and CRSP/ASPPA license preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; CRSP or ASPPA license required.
• Five to eight years of related experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of ERISA and related regulations.
• Experience with Relius and investments preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and standard software applications.

Responsibilities

• Reviews trust instruments and benefit plans to determine the bank’s responsibility as trustee.
• Consults with external customers (corporate officers, attorneys, actuaries, beneficiaries) on account preparation and document review.
• Consults with internal customers on resolution of account record keeping and transaction processing issues.
• Reviews accounts to ensure conformity to customer needs and objectives; recommends changes.
• Answers questions from customer companies relating to administration of employee benefit accounts.
• Reviews and recommends new account applications.
• Keeps informed of changes in legislation affecting employee benefit trusts.
• Ensures compliance training and regulatory requirements are completed.
