Qualifications

• 5+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL.
• Experience using data to influence business decisions.
• Experience with business analysis and P&L management.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete P&L for your assigned category cohort, analyzing key financial metrics such as revenue, margin, and cost structures to make strategic pricing and selection decisions that drive top-line and bottom-line growth.
• Lead complex, independent negotiations with vendor leadership (including C-suite stakeholders) to improve terms, secure new selection, and build lasting partnerships that support long-term category strategy.
• Develop and execute 2-3 year category plans informed by market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights, identifying opportunities for growth, customer acquisition, and brand building across your cohort.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as finance, marketing, and product to clear blockers, align on priorities, and deliver scalable process improvements that raise the bar for operational excellence.
• Leverage generative AI tools and deep-dive data analysis to diagnose business health, uncover root causes, and generate actionable recommendations that enhance the customer experience and category performance.
