Mars United in Cincinnati, OH, seeks a Senior Manager, Retail Consultancy to lead end-to-end client projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage budgets and timelines. The role emphasizes strong client relationships, vendor collaboration, and strategic retail program development.

The Senior Manager will progressively take on Director-level duties, overseeing retail strategy, performance, and connected commerce while ensuring flawless executions and deep client trust.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or related field.
• 5-7 years’ experience in marketing or media at retail.
• Proven Project Management experience.
• Experience working with retail media networks and media vendors.
• Strategic thinking in the development of Shopper Marketing programs and management of day-to-day business.
• Sound decision making skills based in industry knowledge.
• Passion about business – always thinking of ways to improve/grow assigned client/business.
• Strong listening skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Desire to dig in and do what’s needed to get the job done right.

Responsibilities

• Develop optimal and actionable strategies, concepts and tactics with cross-functional teams.
• Direct the work of junior staff to ensure clear duties and timelines.
• Manage the implementation of key client projects.
• Build strong relationships with retailer client contacts.
• Oversee ad ops tagging, reporting, and program execution.
• Coordinate with external vendors/agencies to execute projects.
• Activate and manage partnership relationships with other manufacturers.
• Identify retailer direct and manufacturer platforms.
• Develop and manage project timelines and budgets.
• Communicate project status and budget to client teams.
• Plan and implement retail marketing extensions of brand and category programs.
• Manage client approval processes.
• Measure post-promotion results with internal/external data.
• Troubleshoot issues and maintain strong internal stakeholder relationships.
