Job summary

MG2 Design in Seattle is seeking a Retail Designer (Level 3) to lead experiences for fast-moving retail and F&B environments. The role involves overseeing concept design, space planning, furniture selections, and detailed documentation across MG2 markets to maintain design intent and project standards.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in brand/commercial interiors, strong Revit/SketchUp/AutoCAD/Adobe Enscape skills, and a passion for sustainable materiality and FF&E.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture, design or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a professional architecture or design firm.
• Retail or experiential design expertise.
• Proficiency with Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Enscape.
• NCIDQ Certification and LEED certification preferred but not required.
• Retail environment merchandising knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams in creating original design concepts and deliverables.
• Collaborate with architectural and design staff across varying project scales.
• Oversee construction document production and design QA/QC reviews.
• Prepare and guide design-related submissions and drawings.
• Research materials and FF&E specifications to meet budget and sustainability goals.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and staff on space planning and site surveys.
