Job summary

MG2 Design in Seattle seeks a Project Architect - Retail / F&B to lead design delivery on fast-moving retail and food & beverage projects within the Consumer Experiences Market. You will coordinate drawings, specs, field surveys, and submittals, ensuring MG2 quality standards and contract alignment.

Ideal candidates have a 6+ year architecture background, proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, and experience with diverse project types and AHJ coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in a professional architecture or design firm.
• Programmatic/rollout Food & Beverage experience required.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing collaboration software such as Bluebeam, Miro, and Teams.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating architectural construction documents; Previous documentation of various project types, scale, and complexity preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in all aspects of construction administration including RFI / submittal review, generating field reports, and project close-out procedures.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the production and coordination of contract deliverables including field surveys, design drawings, construction documents, exhibits, and specifications.
• Coordinate project deliverables with external consultants and project partners.
• Generate complete and comprehensive code research and feasibility studies, including coordination with AHJ representatives.
• Provide administrative support for project teams including updating project trackers, RFIs, and submittal logs.
• Participate in QA/QC reviews of all deliverables and coordination of consultant documents.
• Participate in the production and coordination of deliverables during construction administration.
