Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Retail Construction to lead renovation, remodel, and update projects from planning through closeout. The role requires coordinating with contractors, vendors, landlords, and internal teams to keep scope, schedule, budget, and standards on track.

You will manage multiple projects in a fast-paced retail environment, identify risks and solutions, and ensure compliance with codes and lease requirements while delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• PM certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years progressive construction experience, preferably retail renovations or multi-site projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary construction contact for renovation and update projects.
• Review plans, schedules, site logistics and execution requirements.
• Check drawings, specs, scopes of work, and change orders for accuracy.
• Identify risks and opportunities to minimize delays and disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with codes, permits, lease requirements, landlord criteria, and company standards.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, milestones, and critical dates.
• Maintain project reporting using PM, scheduling, and cost-control tools.
• Coordinate with internal teams, general contractors, vendors, landlords, and field resources.
• Represent Ashley Furniture in meetings with stakeholders and partners.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and closeout docs.
