Job summary

Pacific Coast Fresh Co. in Washington state is seeking a Senior Retail Account Manager to grow our retail produce business. You’ll leverage deep produce expertise and industry connections to deliver the right product at the right time to independent grocery retailers.

You’ll drive sales growth, build relationships with independent and multi-store accounts, negotiate pricing and promotions, and collaborate with Director of Retail Sales and operations to ensure flawless service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of fresh produce sales experience.
• Existing network of retail contacts in Washington preferred.
• Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of commodity pricing, supply chain dynamics, and retail merchandising.
• Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and results-oriented work ethic.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced market environment.

Your Role

As a Senior Retail Account Manager, you’ll bring your deep produce expertise and industry connections to grow our retail business. You’re more than a salesperson—you’re a trusted advisor who understands what it takes to deliver the right product at the right time to independent grocery retailers.

• Drive sales growth by leveraging your produce knowledge and customer network
• Build and maintain strong relationships with independent and multi-store retail accounts
• Negotiate pricing, commodity programs, and promotions with buyers
• Partner with the Director of Retail Sales to develop accurate forecasts and sales strategies
• Collaborate closely with operations and transportation to ensure flawless service execution
• Stay ahead of market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to maximize opportunities

What You’ll Bring To The Table

• Minimum 3 years of recent fresh produce experience (e.g. sales, brokerage, procurement, or retail)
• Existing network of retail contacts in Washington strongly preferred
• Track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets with year-over-year growth
• Strong understanding of commodity pricing, supply chain dynamics, and retail merchandising
• Reputation for professionalism, integrity, and delivering results
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting market demands
