Job summary

NHS Lothian is recruiting a Senior Resuscitation Officer for the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. You will base on the RIE campus but work across the organisation to support our service and provide cover for the service lead in their absence, while line managing Band 6 Resuscitation Officers.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and time management, extensive experience in education, and be a certified RCUK ALS instructor capable of leading A-E assessments and SBAR-based

• Experience in education, supporting clinical staff and training others.
• Ability to lead and develop resuscitation practice across settings.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead line management for Band 6 Resuscitation Officers.
• Provide education and support across NHS Lothian acute and primary care settings.
• Cover for the service lead in their absence when required.
• Utilise A-E assessment and SBAR in deteriorating patient care.
