The position requires an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program and Ohio licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, with 3–5 years of experience (6–10 preferred). Expected starting pay ranges from $28.69 to $35.47 per hour.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a two or four-year AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program with RRT credentials.
• Currently licensed to practice as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Ohio. BLS required, ACLS desired.
• Minimum Required: 3 - 5 Years equivalent experience; Preferred: 6 - 10 Years equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in population appropriate communication and provides clear instructions to patients and families.
• Identifies patient limitations and deploys interventions; supports behavioral health considerations.
• Performs treatments and administers medications; operates equipment safely and monitors patient response.
• Records all information in the patient record and hands off care appropriately.
• Educates patients on disease state, wellness, and home care modalities; acts as a preceptor.
