Qualifications

Five years of utility experience in plant engineering/operations, forecasting, or rates.
Strong proficiency in Excel and Python.
Experience with resource planning and modeling techniques.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive resource expansion plans for state utilities.
Interface with regulators, intervenors, customers, and power suppliers to build consensus.
Plan and perform expansion plan and production cost modeling of alternatives.
Coordinate with Forecasting, Risk Management, Trading, and other Xcel teams.
Design and execute solicitations for long-term capacity and energy resources.
