Job summary

Salt River Project (SRP) is seeking a seasoned professional to lead competitive procurement for new generation resources and energy storage, conducting rigorous evaluations and complex negotiations. The role supports SRP's strategic objectives and requires coordinating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid workplace based in Arizona.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a relevant field.
• Experience with competitive procurement and contract management preferred.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, issue, and manage competitive procurement processes for new generation resources and energy storage.
• Perform evaluation of generation resource proposals including quantitative analysis and risk assessments.
• Negotiate power procurement transactions including PPAs and energy storage agreements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to optimize contract templates and terms for reliability and value.
• Monitor contract milestones and enforce performance metrics; report risks and progress.
