Job summary

Gilder Search Group seeks a Reconstruction Manager in the United States to oversee multiple projects from reconstruction through completion. You will manage plans, budgets, schedules, and quality, while maintaining client and team communications.

The role requires 3–5 years in construction, preferably in residential restoration, with strong budgeting, organization, and communication skills. Travel to sites and coordination with subcontractors are expected, along with adherence to company

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and coordination with clients, estimators, contractors, and staff.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for multi-project oversight.
• Ability to manage time, budgets, and risks across several reconstruction projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans including budget, schedule, and quality control measures.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, architects, engineers, and contractors to define scope and goals.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress, quality, and safety.
• Identify and manage risks related to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Manage project budgets, forecast costs, and adjust as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, codes, and standards.
• Coordinate teams to meet timelines and quality expectations.
• Provide weekly updates to clients and project teams.
• Communicate with subcontractors about status and changes.
• Oversee close-out activities, final inspections, and warranty work.
• Foster positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Estimator to avoid overlooked scope items.
• Track costs and process change orders for added work.
