Job summary

Postgraduate Center for Mental Health in New York, NY seeks a Program Director, a Senior Manager responsible for maintaining a residence in compliance with NYS OMH and other regulators. You will lead clinical and operations, supervise staff, and oversee facilities.

The role covers clinical, operational, and financial functions, quality assurance, incident response, and reporting to Regional Director, with emphasis on adherence to regulations and crisis management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Master’s Degree in a Mental Health discipline or related field is required in Licensed Housing.
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a Mental Health discipline or related field with 5 years related experience for Supported Housing required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all social/clinical services and building operations.
• Conducts weekly supervision meetings with Residential Counselors, Case Managers, and Front Desk Counselors.
• Responsible for hiring all program staff.
• Ensures residents follow psychiatric and medical plans; approves individual service plans.
• Maintains case records in accordance with regulatory requirements; reviews and signs off on records.
• Ensures staff paperwork is completed in a timely and thorough manner.
• Conducts and participates in case conferences.
• Designs and implements a quality assurance and utilization review plan for the Residence; reports to Regional Director.

Education

Master’s Degree in Mental Health

Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health with 5 years related experience
