Job summary

Windward Risk Managers is seeking a property claims professional to conduct field investigations in the Florida region. You will perform on-site inspections, assess coverage, and communicate with insureds and professionals to move claims to resolution.

The role requires 3+ years of homeowners claims experience, a valid Florida All-Lines adjuster license (620), and strong skills with Xactimate and mobile sketching. Travel within commutable counties is expected.

Qualifications

Must maintain Florida All-Lines adjuster license (620)
3+ years of homeowner’s claims field adjusting experience
Proficient with Xactimate and sketching, including mobile applications (iPad)

Responsibilities

Prompt and courteous servicing of property claims, including insured and agency contact and follow through.
Interact with policyholders, public adjusters, attorneys, vendors, and experts to foster timely resolution of claims.
Identify, analyze and resolve coverage issues arising in claims investigation.
Factual investigation of cause of loss.
Coverage determination based on policy and endorsements.
Maintain proper file documentation reflecting progressive claim handling.
Prepare Coverage and Payment Letters to settle and conclude the claim.
