Job summary

Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator – Residential to lead preconstruction estimates for large multi-family and senior housing projects in Columbus, OH. You will manage the estimating lifecycle and present cost data directly to clients.

The role emphasizes takeoffs, value engineering, bidding, and early planning, with relocation assistance available. 4–7 years’ experience with HUD/OFHA guidelines and strong client relationships are required.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of estimating experience focused on large multi-family residential, apartments, and senior housing.
• Experience with HUD and OFHA estimating guidelines.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills to drive subcontractor engagement and client trust.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Estimating: Lead, create, and complete full project estimates; review estimates from others.
• Bidding & Scoping: Build qualified subcontractor bid lists and analyze bids and scopes.
• Takeoffs & Pricing: Conduct detailed takeoffs using current market and unit pricing.
• Value Engineering: Research materials and develop cost-effective alternatives.
• Preconstruction Planning: Develop preliminary schedules and outline staffing/GC requirements.
• Client & Partner Relations: Present cost information and maintain relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
