IES Residential is seeking a seasoned Resdiential Electric Technician to lead rough-in crews, perform advanced installations and provide hands-on guidance on residential projects in Texas. You will train less experienced electricians, review plans, and ensure safe, code-compliant work.

Key duties include coordinating crews, diagnosing issues, and maintaining high-quality workmanship on active builds. This role emphasizes leadership, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and rough-in methods.
• Ability to lead, train, and develop crews.
• Read blueprints, plans, and electrical documentation.
• Adhere to safety standards and codes on site.
• Proficient use of electrical tools and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential rough-in crews to complete installations on schedule.
• Perform advanced electrical installation, service, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Train and mentor electricians on rough-in methods and safety.
• Review plans and work orders to coordinate activities.
• Inspect work for quality, code compliance, and standards.
• Diagnose and resolve complex field issues in homes.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Communicate with supervisors, builders, and other trades.
