Qualifications

• Two-Year College Degree; two years experience working with clients with intellectual disabilities, mental illness, Substance Abuse Disorder or domestic violence in a residential setting and supervisory experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Experience with intellectual disabilities, mental illness, and substance abuse in residential settings.
• Ability to supervise residential staff and ensure compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

• Select and onboard new counselors.
• Orient, train and supervise counselors; conduct individual and group supervision.
• Maintain staff schedule and ensure shifts are covered.
• Coordinate purchases within budget for residence.
• Ensure services align with treatment plan.
• Document client services and oversee documentation quality.
• Participate in treatment team meetings.
• Ensure counselors maintain training and certifications.
• Provide observation and feedback via visits.
• Review Kronos for supervisees; monitor overtime.
• Maintain policies and procedures manuals.
• Develop rapport with neighbors and community.
• Attend monthly supervision meetings.
• Use and reconcile City credit card for purchases.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
