Salutem Care and Education seeks a Senior Support Worker to provide high-quality care for children and young people, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver tailored plans and supportive environments.

The role emphasizes safeguarding, activity planning, and partnership with families, social workers, and professionals to ensure positive outcomes and a nurturing home setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a support worker role with children and young people.
• Ability to create bespoke support plans in collaboration with the team.
• Commitment to empowering young people and building meaningful relationships.

Responsabilités

• Work under the Deputy and Registered Manager to deliver quality care for health, welfare, education and development of young people.
• Take on-call duties outside hours to support the home and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Assist in assessment of new admissions and supervise designated staff.
• Support recruitment, interviews and induction with the Deputy and Homes Manager.
• Plan rosters to cover care needs and staffing hours.
• Engage with Ofsted guidelines and the Home's purpose.
