Job summary

Goddard Riverside Community Center seeks a Residential Aide Shift Supervisor to oversee the Residential Aides team in the Baxter Safe Haven. You will supervise daily services, ensure safety, and coordinate intake and payroll activities to support residents 24/7.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with experience in homeless services or related fields. Excellent teamwork and compliance with safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisor experience in a safe haven / shelter / supportive housing environment preferred.
• Food handlers license required within first month of hire.
• F-80 Certification required within first 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Train and daily support of RA staff on client care issues, agency policies, and best practices.
• Provide daily supervision to RA staff to ensure consistent quality of service.
• Lead regular staff meetings where resident issues, operations, policies and procedures are discussed and documented.
• Coordinate schedules for RA’s and plan coverage as needed.
• Review and submit payroll required for Residential Aides.
• Oversee & conduct intakes; ensure CARES intake system is used promptly and accurately.
