Job summary

Bechtel Corporation seeks a Senior Residential Architect to coordinate architectural design activities for a Clay, NY project site. The role requires coordinating with subcontracted design entities, interfacing with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring architectural integrity throughout construction.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Architecture with 15+ years of experience, strong organizational and teamwork skills, and proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture degree from an accredited college or university with at least 15 years of experience.
• Experience coordinating architectural design with subcontracted design entities.
• Strong organizational, teamwork, problem-solving, and design-process innovation abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate architectural design activities and integration with subcontracted design entities.
• Interface with clients, stakeholders and field teams to define layout requirements and approvals.
• Coordinate with DB and General Contractors and Bechtel Field Engineering during construction.
• Integrate design development with other disciplines and procurement/construction teams.
• Prepare cost estimates and quantity take-offs; support production of contractual documents.
• Foster an open, trusted, collaborative work environment and drive project satisfaction.
