Job summary

RWDY Inc. seeks a Reservoir Engineer Advisor II/III to lead technical efforts in Spring, TX, focused on unconventional reservoirs. The role requires strategic guidance, modeling, and simulation studies to meet performance objectives.

In-office, Monday–Friday, 40 hours with approved overtime, ASAP start. The candidate will mentor engineers, develop plans with Reservoir Management, support field execution, and communicate findings clearly to management and partners.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of reservoir engineering in oil & gas.
• 7+ years in unconventional shale experience preferred.
• Exceptional knowledge of reservoir engineering fundamentals.
• Experience building, running, and evaluating dynamic reservoir models.
• Experience conducting reservoir simulation studies efficiently and within required timelines.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to support the Reservoir Leadership Team in achieving performance objectives and maintaining high technical standards.
• Develop plans and programs required by the Reservoir Management Team.
• Guide reservoir engineers in establishing and implementing plans that meet reservoir engineering requirements.
• Perform or guide detailed reservoir simulation studies.
• Build, run, and evaluate dynamic models to assess depletion schemes and investigate technical issues.
• Mentor less-experienced reservoir engineers in simulation and related studies.
• Document results in clear written and graphical formats.
• Provide timely updates to management, partners, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare project-specific strategies with the Project Team to address risks.
• Support risk assessments and studies defined in the Project Risk Management Plan.
• Ensure study findings are addressed during field execution.
• Support uncertainty analyses for data-acquisition plans.
