Mathematica is seeking senior researchers to join our Human Services department, focusing on TANF and employment programs for families with low incomes. The role leads and supports project teams, designs evaluations, and uses data to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in public policy, social work, sociology, psychology, education, economics, statistics, data science, demography, or related field with at least 10 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support project teams in planning and execution for clients such as HHS, state and local agencies, and foundations.
• Design and implement program evaluations and related research studies.
• Provide evaluation technical assistance to improve policy and program performance.
• Develop performance measures and monitor outcomes to support accountability.
• Identify and pursue proactive business development opportunities and respond to RFPs.
