Job description

The Senior Research Technician will work 30 hours per week in a neuroscience research lab supporting projects focused on how neurons rewire their signaling pathways and how these mechanisms contribute to neurodegeneration. The technician will report directly to the Principal Investigator and work closely with scientific staff and trainees.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Perform cellular neuroscience experiments, including:

• Primary neuronal dissections
• Immunohistochemistry
• Immunoblotting
• Use of microfluidic devices

Maintain accurate experimental records

Support day-to-day lab operations and ensure compliance with safety protocols

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required (preferably in Cellular Biology, Neurobiology, or a related field)
• 13 years of relevant laboratory experience
