JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior Research Technician for Innovation in R & D is responsible for assisting the Principal Scientist in testing and developing new and innovative products and related technologies, often sourced from external partners across various technology disciplines. The role supports current and future product development, testing, and may include product code certifications. The individual may also assist with test roof installations and analysis of field data.

Essential Duties:

1. Work under the direction of a Research Scientist or Principal Scientist
2. Design and build prototypes for testing product attributes
3. Conduct laboratory tests, interpret results, and present data in report format
4. Analyze results and execute tasks with minimal oversight
5. Participate in project planning and organization
6. Maintain safe work practices and good housekeeping
