The role focuses on evaluating novel statistical and machine learning approaches, applying statistical knowledge to real-world problems, and developing tools in R, SAS, and Python to operationalize new methodologies across Clinical Development.

Qualifications

• PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics or a highly related field.
• Advanced knowledge of statistical modeling and good understanding of drug development.
• Demonstrated experience in advanced statistical computing & simulation skills.
• Proven expertise in SAS and R.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports evaluation/education of novel statistical and machine learning approaches.
• Investigates complex designs and analysis options via computing, modeling and simulations.
• Gathers new knowledge in advanced statistical methods (e.g., Bayesian methods, adaptive designs).
• Applies and implements new or improved modeling approaches.
• Develops and deploys statistical and deep learning tools (R, R-shiny, Python, Julia).
• Contributes to external reputation through presentations and publications.
