Hybrid role onsite Tue-Thu in Lake County, IL, requiring a PhD with 2+ years and proficiency in SAS, R, or Python to lead analyses and partner with data science and programming teams.

Qualifications

• PhD (with 2+ years of experience) in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a highly related field.
• Proficiency in SAS, R, and/or Python, with demonstrated expertise in developing, validating, and implementing complex statistical analyses and simulation studies.
• Experience supporting clinical development programs, including clinical trial design and statistical analysis planning.
• Ability to independently lead statistical activities for one or more studies and effectively communicate statistical concepts and results to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise to design, analysis and reporting of clinical trials or other scientific research studies. Develop protocols and/or analysis plans with details for programming implementation.
• Identify data collection instruments, report data issues, and provide specs for derived variables and analysis datasets.
• Independently perform statistical analyses per the analysis plan and collaborate with Statistical Programming.
• Develop strategy for data presentation and inference; collaborate in publication of scientific research.
• Work with multifunction teams; explain statistical concepts to non-statisticians and support cross-functional collaboration.
