Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Real Estate, Business, Paralegal, Political Science, Surveying/Topography, or related field is typical.
• At least 2 years of related work experience, or 4 years with a HS/GED.
• Notary Public credentials can be acquired within the first year.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support Research Specialist I or vendor personnel.
• Research ownership of property and title status using internal and public records.
• Review engineering drawings, site plans, and legal descriptions.
• Prepare real estate documents for new construction and major projects with a rights focus.
• Submit land rights to Data Management for indexing in the asset inventory database.
• Map easements in GIS system.
• Coordinate with internal partners to meet requests while maintaining confidentiality.
