Duke Energy is seeking a Research Specialist II in Plainfield, IN to support land rights research for infrastructure projects. The role involves evaluating property ownership, reviewing drawings and legal descriptions, and preparing real estate documents for construction and major projects.

The incumbent will mentor junior staff, coordinate with internal partners, and ensure data integrity across records and GIS mapping, always aligning with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualificações

• Associate's degree in Real Estate, Business, Paralegal, Political Science, Surveying and Topography or related field.
• Minimum 2 years related work experience; or 4 years with HS/GED.
• Valid Driver’s License; Notary Public can be acquired within first year.

Responsabilidades

• Mentor and support Research Specialist I or vendor personnel.
• Perform research using company and public records to determine ownership and rights.
• Review engineering drawings, site plans and legal descriptions.
• Prepare real estate documents for new construction and major projects with a rights focus.
• Interface with internal business partners, Real Estate Reps, Research Specialists, and Data Management Specialists.
• Map easements in GIS and submit land rights for indexing in the asset inventory database.
