Job summary

Arbor Research Collaborative for Health seeks a Research Scientist or Senior Research Scientist to advance epidemiologic and health policy analyses. You will design analytical approaches, develop SAS code, and present findings to diverse audiences, including sponsors and policymakers.

Responsibilities include mentoring junior analysts, preparing manuscripts and tables, and collaborating with lead investigators to ensure timely completion of projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in quantitative field (Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Economics, Public Health, Public Policy).
• At least 4 years professional experience with statistical software, SAS preferred (i.e., conducting survival analysis).
• Strong oral/written communication skills with a wide variety of audiences, including sponsors and policy makers.
• Contributions to health services research, biostatistics, or epidemiology; proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Work with the lead investigators to coordinate research development and ensure timely completion of assignments.
• Contribute to the design of analytical approaches for specific research questions.
• Develop SAS code for completing analyses and verify accuracy of coding.
• Prepare medical and statistical research papers and presentations; assist authors with tables and figures.
• Present results clearly in public forums to biostatisticians and clinicians; mentor junior analysts.
