Ideal candidates will have a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering along with hands-on experience in material processing. The position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 – $205,000, plus benefits, and requires legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• PhD with a minimum of 7 years of experience or MS with minimum 10 years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with material processing.
• Ability to relate materials behavior to processing history.

Responsibilities

• Lead research on ceramic matrix composites (CMCs).
• Develop innovative CMC material systems.
• Mentor less experienced researchers.
