Job summary

Albany International Corp. is seeking a strategic Engineering/BD leader focused on ceramic matrix composites and emerging technologies. You will interface with Engineering, R&T and Business Development to drive insertion into production and establish strong customer partnerships.

The role requires building technical roadmaps, leading development efforts to TRL 4–7, and shaping proposals with pricing targets. Occasional travel and security clearance are expected.

Qualifications

• 4-7+ years in composite industry engineering, sales, or marketing.
• Experience in CMC/ceramic matrix composites and related technologies.
• Travel up to 40% and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead CMC composites opportunities and act as technical interface to BD.
• Support TRL 4-7 development projects with defined scopes.
• Develop scopes, proposals and production pricing targets.
• Provide technical leadership to project engineers.
• Build relationships with key customers to identify opportunities.
• Contribute to brand strengthening via industry engagements.
