Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Senior Research Project Manager on a per diem basis with potential to transition to full-time. The role partners with the Department Chair to guide project implementation and coordinate across divisions, including communications and proposal development.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 3–5+ years of project management, with superb written communication and strong data presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3–5+ years of project management experience.
• Superb written communication skills for academic and lay audiences.
• Advanced PowerPoint and visual data display skills.
• Skilled systems-oriented thinker with excellent analytic capabilities.
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee implementation of core strategic initiatives with the Department Chair and leadership.
• Coordinate cross-division efforts and support related communications.
• Develop proposals, presentations, white papers, and policy pieces for publication.
• Draft, edit, and proofread materials including papers and briefing memos.
• Track funding opportunities and collaborate with Development for philanthropy.
• Manage multiple medium-to-high complexity projects ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
