Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple major construction projects from conception to closeout. You will coordinate with the Vice President, administrators and consultants to define scope, structure budgets and manage schedules across the design and implementation phases.

The role requires five years of PM or management experience in construction, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Architecture or equivalent work experience.
• Five years experience as project manager or management in construction and alteration projects.
• Strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders across departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop project definitions, scopes and design with clients and consultants.
• Schedule and direct project meetings; oversee design through closeout.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets and control costs within guidelines.
• Coordinate across departments and external vendors to keep projects on schedule.
• Issue change orders, approve invoices and ensure final project documentation.
• Assist with bidding and selection of contractors and development of schedules.
