Qualifications

• PhD (or MD/DO/DVM) with experience in microbiology, ecology, environmental science, chemistry or biochemistry.
• Proven record in antimicrobial resistance research, microbial ecology or related fields.
• Experience designing and conducting independent research projects.
• Proven track record securing external funding (federal or private).
• Laboratory techniques relevant to antimicrobial detection and microbial ecology.
• Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
• Ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary settings and publish in peer‑reviewed journals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the establishment and operations of CADECI-NH.
• Investigate AMR ecology at farms and wildland interfaces.
• Drive innovation incubator activities in antimicrobial sensing and characterization.
• Mentor graduate and research staff; supervise projects.
