Qualifications

• PhD or advanced graduate degree in a closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience in antimicrobial resistance research or microbial ecology.
• Experience designing and leading independent research projects.
• Proven track record in securing external research funding.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to the establishment and operations of CADECI-NH.
• Investigate AMR ecology at farms and wildland-farm interfaces.
• Drive innovation incubator activities for sensing and characterizing antimicrobials and resistance genes.
• Generate data and develop tools to inform antimicrobial stewardship on farms.
• Publish findings in high-impact journals and present at conferences.
• Mentor and supervise graduate and undergraduate researchers.
• Teach one course per year in MCBS and participate in service and diversity initiatives.
