Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company in Hartford, CT seeks a Senior Research Operations Analyst to manage audience sampling, data analytics, and reporting for complex studies. You will work with researchers and business leaders to deliver actionable insights and coordinate project logistics.

Responsibilities include ensuring data quality, building initial findings into deliverables, and aligning work with enterprise standards while supporting ongoing process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, economics, mathematics, statistics, social sciences, or comparable analytical degree.
• 4 or more years of market research, business intelligence, or related experience.
• Self-motivated.
• Strong communication skills (including an ability to explain and show work done on).
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Able to create and cultivate relationships/a network and use it to inform business outcomes with moderate guidance from manager.
• Ability to analyze and derive observations from quantitative or qualitative data.
• Demonstrated Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of research methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability with tools like Qualtrics, SPSS, Access, SAS, Wincross, FuelCycle, Python, JavaScript, SQL, Qlik, Tableau, or related software.

Responsibilities

• Partner with research team, business partners, and/or leadership to ensure understanding of business problem, context, and audience to inform execution of the work.
• Program online surveys, manage data collection through fielding, set up data tables, and generate initial findings.
• Support data quality efforts to help ensure accuracy and integrity across projects.
• Set up initial findings and data into final deliverable report or dashboard.
• Work on a variety of projects of increasing complexity across all businesses.
• Contribute recommendations and feedback on solution designs to researchers and team management.
• Align solutions to enterprise legal, security, software development, and finance/compliance standards.
• Perform quality control checks for research projects executed across the department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
