Bristol Myers Squibb in Princeton, NJ seeks a Senior Pharmacometrician to lead model-informed drug development efforts across clinical programs. You will design and execute PMx analyses, coordinate with CP and other quantitative teams, and contribute to regulatory submissions and decision-making.
Ideal candidates hold an advanced degree and have 2+ years in PMx/CP with strong programming in R, NONMEM, Monolix, and Python. Hybrid work arrangements and competitive compensation are offered.
At Bristol Myers Squibb, our employees often ask, "Who are you working for?"-a question that fuels collaboration, accountability, and urgency in our work. The Senior Pharmacometrician will be responsible for the development and implementation of the model-informed drug development (MIDD) plan for drugs and other therapeutic agents in clinical development, in partnership with Clinical Pharmacology (CP) and other quantitative functions for the asset. MIDD complements conventional drug development by integrating diverse data through PMx models to inform development decisions and regulatory assessments. MBMA adds a quantitative view of competitors and comparators. MIDD informs dose and regimen selection and clinical study hypotheses, while complementing clinical data to support regulatory assessment of clinical pharmacology and benefit-risk. PMx analyses can also inform approval decisions and, in some cases, serve as the primary basis for approval. Model-based integration of data to generate insights, bridge data-gaps, inform and drive drug development decisions, and support health authority interactions. Pharmacometrics (PMx) applications including population pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, exposure-response, disease progression, and model-based meta-analyses (MBMA). Understanding of modern PMx approaches such as mechanistic modeling (QSP and PBPK), scientific machine learning and agentic workflows are a significant bonus.
