MBMA adds a quantitative view of competitors and comparators. MIDD informs dose and regimen selection and clinical study hypotheses, while complementing clinical data to support regulatory assessment of clinical pharmacology and benefit-risk. PMx analyses can also inform approval decisions and, in some cases, serve as the primary basis for approval. Model-based integration of data to generate insights, bridge data-gaps, inform and drive drug development decisions, and support health authority interactions. Pharmacometrics (PMx) applications including population pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, exposure-response, disease progression, and model-based meta-analyses (MBMA).
