The Supervisory Research Health Science Specialist, Deputy Associate Chief of Staff for Research, is a senior leadership role within the Atlanta VA Health Care System. This position ensures efficient operation and regulatory compliance of the Research Service, directing complex administrative activities to advance the program.

Reporting to the ACOS for Research, the incumbent leads budgeting and supervision of personnel, ensures accreditation and ORA/ORD compliance, and guides policy development

Qualifikationen

• Foreign education must provide a Certificate of Foreign Equivalency with your transcript to receive credit.

Aufgaben

• Lead and oversee the Research Service operations within AVAHCS.
• Ensure regulatory compliance of the Research Service Line per VISN and VACO policies.
• Direct administrative activities, program development, and strategic planning for biomedical, clinical, rehabilitation, health services, and laboratory research.
• Supervise personnel and manage budgeting for the Research Service and related departments.
