Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction to grow the VA R&D enterprise and ensure alignment with priorities.
• Oversee Research Operations, staffing, budgeting, and program management.
• Lead the Research & Development Committee and related subcommittees.
• Ensure compliance with VA, federal, and institutional regulations.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, Compliance and Procurement for smooth operations.
