Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; experience may substitute.
• 3–5 years of research administration/grant management experience.
• Proficient with spreadsheets, databases and accounting tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze large financial datasets and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of research grant and contract administration for assigned portfolio.
• Prepare budgets, justifications and financial reporting materials.
• Identify overruns, propose cost-sharing opportunities and solutions.
• Ensure sponsor requirements and guidelines are met in systems.
• Train and orient new staff; support high-complexity work; may include signing authority.
