Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a Grants Administrator to oversee the lifecycle of multiple sponsored research grants within the Channing Division. You will assist Principal Investigators with proposal and budget development and coordinate with the central office for compliant submissions.

The role requires 3+ years of grant management experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Hybrid work and a collaborative environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Masters in relevant field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of grant management experience.
• Extensive knowledge of program administration guidelines of Federal and non-Federal funding agencies supporting biomedical research.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to resource efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal/communications (verbal and written) skills and a customer service focus.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Internet applications.
• Demonstrated ability to be organized and flexible in an environment which requires continuous monitoring of priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversees preparation and submission of new, competing, and non-competing sponsored research proposals for the division.
• Identify all potential costs associated with a proposal and liaise with sponsors and administrators.
• Serve as liaison to the Mass General Brigham central office and other funding agencies.
• Oversee JIT, Progress Report, Re-budgeting, Carry-Forward, No Cost Extension, and Close-Out submissions.
• Maintain records of submission materials and assist with regulatory certifications.
