Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
• Minimum 5 years of healthcare or research experience.
• Pre- and post-award grant administration experience.
• Experience with NIH funding preferred.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in financial management, reporting, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex research portfolios across multiple laboratories and funding sources.
• Lead all pre-award grant activities including sponsor eligibility and submission processes.
• Coordinate with departments and external partners for timely proposals.
• Oversee post-award financial management, budgets, and reporting.
• Approve procurement requests and ensure correct fund allocation.
• Manage HR processes including postings, salaries, visas, and offboarding.
• Ensure compliance with NIH policies and external regulations.
• Assist with core pricing and monthly billing to internal/external customers.
• Provide guidance and training to colleagues and act as senior resource.
• Collaborate with central offices (Research Finance, Grants & Contracts, etc.).
• Lead special projects and represent department on committees.
