Job summary

BILH Performance Network is seeking a Senior Contracting Specialist to draft, negotiate, and execute research agreements and subcontracts. The role collaborates with the Senior Director Technology Transfer and OSR to ensure compliance and timely execution of agreements.

The position requires 3–5 years in contract negotiation, licensing experience in academic/medical research, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Doctoral degree preferred.
• 3-5 years related work experience, with contract negotiation and federal grants.
• Licensing experience in academic and medical research preferred.
• Strong organization and time management with ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a point of contact during negotiation and review of agreements.
• Oversees agreement process through final signature.
• Negotiates, drafts, executes and maintains research contracts including subcontracts, MTAs and data transfer agreements.
• Develops and maintains standard agreement templates and SOPs.
• Enter and maintain agreements in repository and databases; track reports and deliverables.
