Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin, Inc. seeks a Program Coordinator III – Contracts Coordinator to provide advanced administrative and contractual support for clinical research.

You will draft, review, negotiate, and manage research agreements and serve as the primary liaison among investigators, sponsors, and legal counsel. This role requires independent judgment, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; five years contracts experience preferred.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing research agreements.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, IRB, and clinical research operations.
• Experience in academic medical centers or healthcare research preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate research agreements including NDAs, DUAs, DTAs, data transfer, and service/vendor contracts.
• Identify risks in contract language and escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with legal, procurement, investigators, sponsors to negotiate terms.
• Maintain contract records and monitor lifecycles, renewals, amendments, and expirations.
• Serve as primary liaison among investigators, sponsors, and external partners on contractual matters.
• Develop contract databases and tracking systems.
• Provide guidance on contract requirements to investigators and staff.
• Support development of contract-related communications.
