Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent experience in research administration or related field.
• Five years negotiating contracts in research administration or related field.
• Experience with a variety of agreement types and sponsor systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, draft, revise, and process highly complex contract and grant agreements and amendments.
• Interact with funding agencies for clarifications and discussions of terms.
• Mentor other Contract Officers and advise on complex negotiations.
• Counsel researchers and staff on budgets, certifications, and compliance.
