Job summary

UT Health San Antonio is seeking a compliance professional to develop and present educational materials for compliance officials, staff, and researchers, enhancing awareness and adherence to human subject, animal, or infectious agent regulations.

Under limited supervision, you will lead program components, educate stakeholders, review protocols, maintain records, and coordinate with offices and regulatory agencies to ensure robust compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires significant research regulatory knowledge.
• Three years of related experience within a large multi-affiliate organization.
• Working knowledge of Federal, State, Local regulations including HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with policies regarding human subjects, laboratory animals or infectious agents in research.
• Develops and implements compliance program components including protocol review, record keeping and reporting.
• Provides education and guidance to compliance officials, investigators and staff to increase awareness of regulations.
• Evaluates processes and policies and recommends changes impacting budgeting, planning and procedures.
• Coordinates with institutional offices, affiliated institutions, or regulatory agencies.
