Job summary

Seattle Children’s in Seattle is seeking a Senior Communications Specialist to lead and evaluate marketing and communications efforts in support of our Research Division goals and operations. You will craft scientific content for labs and programs, advise division leaders, and coordinate across channels for healthcare audiences, patients and families, and the broader public.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in a marketing or communications role.

Responsibilities

• Provide marketing and/or communications support for Research Division projects and initiatives for multiple audiences.
• Develop content for newsletters, blogs, presentations, and other communications channels.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors on campaigns and materials.
• Assist with crisis communications and messaging for senior leaders.
