Job summary

Seattle Children's in Washington state seeks a senior leader to direct and integrate its Clinical Research Support Cores, including Behavioral Development Lab and Pediatric Clinical Research Center, ensuring quality, customer service, and strategic growth.

The role requires advanced health science degree, at least five years of clinical research and leadership, with strong knowledge of regulatory, budgeting, and cross‑sector collaboration to advance pediatric research.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in health science or clinical discipline (MSN, PharmD, PhD) with minimum of five (5) years of clinical research experience.
• Proven leadership experience in a health care setting (minimum of five (5) years).
• Thorough knowledge of research regulatory requirements and understanding of finance and operational aspects of clinical research.

Responsibilities

• Direct, manage and evaluate all services of the Clinical Research Support Cores on a 24/7 basis, ensuring quality, customer service, growth and budget alignment.
• Collaborate and integrate core services across hospital, Research Institute, ITHS and external entities to meet patient and organization needs.
• Direct and manage contracted services to meet patient and researcher needs and develop strategic plans in response to trends in treatment, economics or patient needs.
• Develop and sustain interdisciplinary relationships and committees; manage special projects contributing to program development.
