Job summary

The University of Cincinnati Institute for Policy Research (UCIPR) seeks a Senior Research Associate to oversee applied research activities, including survey research, public policy studies, and program evaluation.

You will lead projects from study design through reporting, engage stakeholders, collect and analyze data, and disseminate findings to partners and funders. Responsibilities include grant development, budget support, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Experience using research, statistical analysis, survey, and data visualization tools.
• Ability to work as part of a dynamic team.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead research projects from study design through reporting.
• Engage stakeholders, data collection, analysis, and dissemination.
• Support proposal and grant development and submission.
• Mentor staff and supervise undergraduate/graduate students.
• Advise research partners on study design and survey methods.
